nese Army and the 40th Prime Minister of Japan during most of World War II (“Hideki”). In March of 1937 he became the Chief of Staff of the Kwangtung Army (“Hideki”). As chief, Hideki Tojo was in charge of increasing Japan’s land into Mongolia and Inner
Mongolia (“Spring”). We Japanese took every chance we got to invade other countries around our border and take over. In July of 1937 Hideki leaded the soldiers and I to the Operation Chahar which was the battle of the great wall (“Expansion”). The event I remember the most from the Operation Chahar was the Chahar Expeditionary Force attacking on the Chinese but the Chinese were unable to fight back so then they started threatening us (“Spring”). After that the Empire of Japan's Imperial Japanese Army, which began the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War, went to war with the Chinese (“Expansion”). During that war our leader, Hideki Tojo, demanded us to move against Hobei and target towards northern China (“Hideki”). In May of 1938 Hideki went to go serve as the Vice-Minister of War (“Hideki”). Then, in July of 1940 Hideki Tojo was appointed by the War Minister in the second Fumimaro Konoe Cabinet (“Spring”). As a war minister, Hideki Tojo kept trying to expand the war that was going on with the Chinese “Spring”). Throughout all of these wars many people we’re getting killed and hurt because of what Hideki Tojo was doing (“Hideki”). Soon Hideki Tojo got sentenced into jail because of all the killing and we got a new General.
